Terms of
Service.

These terms govern your use of Timbre. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Who Can Use Timbre

Membership is
by invitation only.

Timbre is available by invitation only to people who are 18 or older. You must provide accurate information when you register. One account per person.

Timbre is currently in an early community formation phase. The service continues to evolve. Some features described in platform documentation may not yet be fully available.

What Timbre Is

A professional network.
Not a guarantee.

Timbre is a professional networking service. We use a matching model to identify potentially valuable connections between members and open structured exchanges — called threads — between them. The goal is a high-quality, low-noise network where introductions are meaningful.

We don't guarantee that the service will produce any particular outcome for you — a job, a partnership, a deal, or any other result. We surface connections we think are worth your time. What you do with them is up to you.

What You Can Do

Your account,
your network.

You can use Timbre to build your professional profile, engage in threads with other members, make and receive introductions, and manage your network and follow-up notes.

What You Can't Do

The rules of
the room.

Your Content

You own what
you write.

By submitting content — profile information, thread answers, notes — you grant Timbre a limited license to store and display it as part of operating the service. We don't use your content for training AI models. We don't publish your content publicly.

Termination

Leaving or being
removed.

We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, behave in ways that harm other members, or if we determine your presence is inconsistent with the standards of the community. We'll give you notice when we can, but we're not obligated to in cases of serious violations.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Limitations

What we're
not liable for.

Timbre is provided as-is. We're not liable for outcomes that result from connections made through the platform, including professional decisions, financial loss, or disputes between members.

Changes

As the service
evolves.

We'll update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
